Logitech = Acer-like quality with Apple-like support. The keyboard itself doesn't suck, but boy did Logitech drop the ball when it came to QC on the keycaps. The mechanical keys on this keyboard feel great and I don't think I'm going to have any issues with the keys this time around.Īnyone else have some more long term experience with mechanical keyboards that can comment on how the keys hold up over time? Any overall impressions of the G710+? Thanks! The keys began to stick after a while or just became hard to press if you didn't catch them in the center of the key. What I disliked most about that keyboard was really the typing experience. The things I did like are included on the 710, like the volume scroll wheel and media keys.

I replaced a Logitech G19, which was more expensive than this one and which I really didn't like that much. The keys snap back quickly and I'm finding that I can type just as fast, if not faster at this point. Having said that, the travel on this keyboard took some getting used to, but now that I'm somewhat more accustomed to it I must say that it's a joy to type on. Well, I must say, after putting a days worth of use into this keyboard I am finding that I love it! At work I use a basic Dell keyboard which has very short travel distance which I like a lot as it's very easy to type on and feels good. However, I figured I would at least give it a shot and if I didn't like it return it in a couple days. I've never had a mechanical keyboard before and after testing it out at Best Buy I wasn't that impressed.
